Master's Academy of Art is a place for young people and the young at heart to come and learn the foundational principles of Fine Art: Drawing, Painting, etc... along with Art History in a FUN Atmosphere!Our main focus is to honor our Creator with our artistic talents. We believe in the spirit filled development of the gifts God has given us and we want to direct our students toward a more intimate relationship with Him through our gifting.Our classes are one hour long and will run in 10 week sessions. Each class will contain a maximun of 10 students to ensure a productive student to teacher ratio.Cost: Each one hour class costs $10.00. The entire 10 week session is $100.00. $50.00 is payable on the first class and the remainder is due by the 5th class.
At the end of the 10 week session we will have a gallery opening where you can invite your friends and family to view the work that you have completed.About the Instructor: Margaret Hood
Margaret is an award winning artist who has been pursuing her passion for all things creative since her childhood. Her passion led her to pursue art as a career and she attended Pensacola Christian College and Youngstown State University. While in College, she changed her major to include Art Education and has been teaching art to children and adults for many years. Recently Margaret has been reminded that the original purpose of the arts was to glorify God. Lets use our talents and creativity and offer them back to the original "Creator". Lets Worship Jesus through our Art !
